Adult Program Level Descriptions

Absolute Beginner (Less than 2 years experience)
For dancers with little to no prior training. You’ll learn basic steps, terminology, and foundational technique at a comfortable pace.

Beginner/Intermediate (2–5 years experience)
For dancers who understand the basics and are ready to build on technique, combinations, and musicality. A mix of beginner and early-intermediate work.

Intermediate/Advanced (5+ years experience)
For experienced dancers with strong technique and vocabulary. Faster-paced classes focusing on refined skills, artistry, and complex combinations.

All Levels
Suitable for everyone - from brand-new dancers to experienced movers. Exercises can be modified to match your ability and comfort level.

2026 Winter Term Fees:

45 minute class:
- $135 plus HST (9 weeks)
- $150 plus HST (10 weeks)
60 minute class:
- $158 plus HST (9 weeks)
- $175 plus HST (10 weeks)
75 minute class:
- $203 plus HST (9 weeks)

$40/Annual Registration Fee applicable.

2026 Winter Drop-In Rates:

Drop-In Fee: $25/class (45-min class)
Drop-In Fee: $30/class (60-min class)

Adult Dance Classes

Class: Adult Ballet

Level: Absolute Beginner

Tuesdays 7:30-8:30pm

Wednesdays 8:45-9:45pm

Instructor: Victoria Cicinelli

Absolute Beginner (Less than 2 years experience)

For dancers with little to no prior training. You’ll learn basic steps, terminology, and foundational technique at a comfortable pace.

Class Structure:

Traditional Ballet Barre. We'll start with the basics, teaching you proper posture, alignment, and fundamental ballet movements at the barre. We'll patiently guide and support you through each step, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident in your abilities and understanding of ballet technique.

Class Attire:

Ballet attire and/or comfortable tight-fitting athletic wear. Ballet slippers, jazz shoes or socks permitted.

Winter Term (Jan 6 - Mar 10)

Class: Adult Ballet

Level: Beg/Int

Tuesdays 7:30-8:30pm

Beginner/Intermediate (2–5 years experience)

For dancers who understand the basics and are ready to build on technique, combinations, and musicality. A mix of beginner and early-intermediate work.

Class Structure:

Traditional Ballet Barre, Centre and Across the Floor.

With focus towards postural alignment and foundations to classical and traditional ballet technique, you're guaranteed to be inspired with the beauty and grace of ballet.

Class Attire:

Ballet attire and/or comfortable tight-fitting athletic wear. Ballet shoes are mandatory.

Winter Term (Jan 6 - Mar 10)
- $158 plus HST (9 weeks)
- No class on Feb. 10th
Drop-In Fee: $30/class

Class: Adult Ballet

Level: Int/Adv

Tuesdays 8:45-10pm

Instructor: Candice Helm

Intermediate/Advanced (5+ years experience)

For experienced dancers with strong technique and vocabulary. Faster-paced classes focusing on refined skills, artistry, and complex combinations.

Class Structure:

Traditional Ballet Barre, Centre and Across the Floor.

With focus towards maintaining and/or improving ballet technique, while keeping fit and having fun.

Class Attire:

Ballet attire and/or comfortable tight-fitting athletic wear. Ballet shoes are mandatory.

Winter Term (Jan 6 - Mar 10)
- $203 plus HST (9 weeks)
- No class on Feb. 10th
Drop-In Fee: $35/class

Class: Adult Stretch & Strengthen

Levels: All levels

Thursdays 9:00-10:00pm

Instructor: Lexie Bird

All Levels

Suitable for everyone - from brand-new dancers to experienced movers. Exercises can be modified to match your ability and comfort level.

Class Structure:

Featuring a 45-min, full-body, body-weight workout incorporating optional small weights. This class targets the upper body, lower body, and core through a mix of structured sets and follow-along exercises. The class concludes with a 15-min, full-body stretch to enhance flexibility and support recovery.

Our Adult Stretch & Strengthen is an excellent class to help improve your flexibility while strengthening and supporting your core and major muscle groups. With a combination of cardio and resistance workouts, you'll be guided through a variety of stretch and strengthening exercises.

Whether you're a seasoned athlete or simply looking to improve your daily well-being, this class is suitable for all fitness levels. All are welcome!

Optional:

Please bring 1–2 pound weights if you have them at home to further enhance your workout.

Class Attire:

Comfortable tight-fitting athletic wear. Barefoot or clean indoor running shoes are recommended. Socks are an option, but please ensure they have grips for safety.

Class: Adult Tap

Level: Absolute Beginner

Tuesdays 6:45-7:30pm

What to Wear:

Comfortable athletic wear that allows you to move freely. Tap shoes of your choice - whatever helps you feel confident and comfortable.

- $150 plus HST (10 weeks)
Drop-In Fee: $25/class

Class: Adult Tap

Level: Beg/Int

Fridays 8:30-9:15pm
